South Asian Games Recap 4 December

The highlights of today's South Asian Games include the first ever cycling event in the history of SAG, Nepal's big wins in Wushu, Taekwondo and Karate and Nepal pulling ahead with most medals won till now.

Nepal's Sangita Bashyal claimed gold in the women's 62kg Taekwondo match in Satdobato, Lalitpur. Bashyal defeated India's Gaganjot Gill 18-9.

In the men's heavy-weight 87kg Taekwondo match, Nepal beat Pakistan.

KABADDI: Nepal vs Bangladesh
Sri Lanka vs Pakistan

In the men's Kabaddi match, Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan and Bangladesh defeated Nepal.

The Nepal vs Srilanka men's football match ended in a draw with each team scoring a goal each.

Nepal’s Nisma Shrestha and Rajesh Magar won a gold medal each in first ever cycling event of the South Asian Games held in Gokarna. The event included a 1km downhill race.
