Worst of times

Reading "The red windmill in the valley of the gods" (#125) I really felt like it is the best of times and the worst of times in Nepal. When will our heads work in unison with our hearts? Are we a nation of insensitive imbeciles that we dance the can-can here in Kathmandu when the rest of the country is burning? Let's have a moratorium on these tasteless festivities, celebrations, and donor-driven seminars till our basic problems and basic needs are addressed.
