Two advertising campaigns from Nepal– #Basichumanity and #TogetherAhead– were selected the One Show Asia Showcase 2020, marking the first time that Nepali campaigns were selected for the showcase.
One Show Asia highlights the best work in advertising from the Asia Pacific region. This year, 62 creative leaders from 29 countries curated more than 2,600 submissions from 59 cities in 17 countries across the Asia Pacific, of which the two Nepali campaigns were part.
Praising those involved in the campaigns, Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) president Som Prasad Dhittal encouraged the Nepali ad industry continue on the path so that it is on par with other leading advertising fraternities globally.
Outreach Nepal’s #Basichumanity campaign, which also bagged the ECI awards in Shanghai in December 2020, was adopted in eight languages and ran in six countries. Meanwhile, the #TogetherAhead campaign was created by CREO Communications for Nabil Bank.
