Surya Nepal Gokarna Monthly Medal winner awarded

P urna Bahadur Rai has won the second edition title of the Surya Nepal Gokarna Monthly Medal, a golf tournament, at the Gokarna Golf Club. Played under stroke play full handicap format, Rai finished first on countback after being tied on four-under 68 with Babu Sherpa, the runner-up, in the Nett category. 51 golfers took part in the event, sponsored by Surya Nepal. Golfer Rekha Ghimire, the wife of Gokarna Golf Club President Suhrid Ghimire, handed over the prizes to the winners.
