Hyatt reopens

Hyatt Regency Kathmandu reopened on 1 October for limited services, following worldwide Covid-19 safety protocols. Hotel employees will undergo a wellness check prior to each shift and will be required to wear masks while on the property. Similarly, guests are required to put on face masks or coverings and in outdoor spaces including the lobby, meetings and events spaces, and restaurants when physical distancing is not possible. Like every Hyatt hotel, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu will have at least one trained Hygiene Manager on site who will be responsible for the hotel adhering to operational guidance and protocols.

The hotel has partnered with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) - a division of the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), to help deliver on the Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment. The GBAC is composed of leaders in the area of microbial-pathogenic threat analysis and mitigation, designed specifically to deal with biological threats and real-time crises like Covid-19.
