Hero launches its new premium motorbike

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. has launched its new premium motorcycle, the Xtreme 200R in Nepal.

The Xtreme 200R aims to provide an enthralling experience to riders while also keeping a strong focus on safety. The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is being provided as a standard safety feature along with other features such as 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc brakes. The carefully tuned riding triangle between the handlebar, seat and foot-pegs offers balance of agility and comfort. The 17” 130/70 wide rear radial tire with performance tread pattern ensures enhanced

road grip.

The Xtreme 200R delivers useful, real world performance with a range of premium features, thus providing an appealing overall package to a wide range of customers. With its muscular and aggressive styling, the new Xtreme 200R exudes a Roadster stance. The Frame is lightweight yet stiff, and thus offers precise handling in tight corners and stability at high speeds.

The new Xtreme 200R's power source is an all-new performance-oriented BS-IV compliant 200cc engine, which is air cooled and produces a maximum power output of 18.4 PS at 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 17.1 NM at 6500 rpm. The bike races from 0-60 km/h in 4.6s seconds, and reaches a top speed of 114 km/h. The engine also features additional balancers to ensure smooth power delivery by cutting first order vibrations.

The Fuel Tank, sporty Headlight, LED Pilot Lamps and LED Tail Lamp with guide lights, digi-analogue information cluster and dual-tone graphics add to the striking and distinct appeal of the motorcycle. In addition, the bike features a newly designed contoured seat for a better riding experience.

The motorcycle is available in five dual-tone color schemes - Panther Black with cool Silver, Panther Black with Red, Sports Red, Charcoal Grey with Orange and Techno Blue. The Xtreme 200R is priced at NPR 286,500 and is available for sale at Hero MotoCorp dealerships.
