City Express Money Transfer has received the popularity nod at the Remtech Awards for promoting legal remittance services with social impact, the first time any Nepali company has won in such a category in the field of remittance.
The award held in Florida on 18 November and attended by 32 participants from across the globe acknowledged City Express’ success in bringing positive changes and encouraging an environment of support to provide better service to immigrants to streamline and rely on cross-border transfers.
On 14 November, City Express and Al Fardan Exchange, Dubai had jointly launched their ‘Dasain Tihar Bumper Dhamaka’ lucky draw campaign, per which customers could win home appliances every week as well as cash prizes of up to Rs600,000. All customers sending money from Al Fardan Exchange in Dubai to Nepal via City express were eligible for the scheme.
City Express has been providing remittance services for the last 14 years. It has over 10,000 payment counters across Nepal providing easy and secure service, bank deposit and mobile wallet facilities.
