Canton to Kathmandu

China Southern Airlines has started using Airbus 330-200 on its Guangzhou-Kathmandu– Guangzhou route to keep pace with rising passenger volume. The first trial flight was conducted this week, and widebody will fly regularly during the tourist season 29 September-27 October.

Airbus 330-200 has four first class, 24 business class and 190 economy class seats. With the 1-2-1 cabin configuration and its cocoon-designed seat, which can be easily converted into a comfortable flat bed, first class provides more privacy to passengers.

In the airlines business class has a 2-2-2 cabin configuration, with 24 comfortable seats and large-screen personal TV. The economy class seats are designed in a 2-4-2 configuration and feature excellent lumbar support, generous recline and extended leg rest. Vast selections of entertainment program, attentive service on board and quality of cabin meals on offer add up to a peaceful flight experience.

The flights will be effective from 29 September to 27 October this year. The airlines is also planning to operate night flights via Airbus 330-200 and provide the service daily in the future.
