AVO Nepal & Aakansha Creation training campaign

AVO Nepal and Aakansha Creation have signed an agreement to create jobs for women in Sindhupalchowk displaced by landslides and floods last monsoon, with Aakansha Creation’s Tekka Initiatives leading the campaign in collaboration with the local ward office.

Participating women will be trained to make crocheted soft toys, and will be provided an opportunity for employment to produce soft toys for AVO Nepal once training is complete. The campaign intends to employ at least 100 women in the six months after the training is complete.
