Vandals attack Nagarik offices
A group of 30 men chanting “Long live Shiv Sena Nepal” attacked the Sundhara offices of Nagarik Daily today.
The vandals damaged some furniture and office papers, and left journalist Sudarshan Sapkota injured. The police have since then taken some of them under custody.
It is understood that the attack was planned in retaliation to some news published on ‘Shukrabar’, a weekly published by Nepal Republic Media, the media house whose flagship journal is Nagarik.

It is understood that the attack was planned in retaliation to news regarding the property of late King Birendra which was published on ‘Shukrabar’, a weekly published by Nepal Republic Media, the media house whose flagship journal is Nagarik.
