MRP distribution starts

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is all set to distribute machine readable passports (MRP) today onwards.

Diplomatic passports will first be distributed. The Ministry said that the MRP will be first provided to the President Dr Ram Baran Yadav amidst a function today. It will then be provided to the Vice-President, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice and the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly.

The first machine readable common passport will first be provided to Anuradha Koirala of Maiti Nepal. The public will be able to acquire MRPs from the Central Passport Office, Darbar Marg.

Chief of the Passport Office, Bharat Poudel said that the MRP will be provided in six months after an application is submitted. Extra charge will be levied for those who want it within a week.

The Ministry is planning to distribute the MRPs from all three districts of the valley after few days.

    Friend : It is great news coming in order, the collection of information from the district concerned and distribution from the same point of an applicant will more wise to nation as it minuses many risk associated here in … time should not be more than 120 days.the option for week with surcharge keep as it.

    The concerned should declare firm policies for collection and distribution within 90 to 120 days. we no central processing is justified in present context of Nepal. It will save the people / burdens
    in interlink way.

    Well Friends: The MOFA has started in three districts of valley. Give the concern
    to realize for other district Even Central Processing is must, verification of citizen
    ship by the concerned CDO’S office likely to be done. Hence collection and distributions must be from concern CDO’s offices processing in MOFA is acceptable firm time 90 days for convenient districts and 120 days for remote enough.
    concerned should worked out all risk associated. Only due to this 1200000 traffics will be in katmandu. Is it Justified.Hence concerned should be more smat to address the issues.
